In the world of strange coincidences, I bought a writing slope that reminded me of the one that Vincent uses in Glamour in Glass. The leather writing surface needed to be replaced so I stripped it off, exposing the wood underneath.
Carved in the wood are the initials V. H.
Those are Vincent’s initials…
Or it could be Roman Numeral VII.
If it weren’t for the cross-bar between the two verticals, yes.
That is just magnificent. The universe throwing you a delightful little bone.

It did feel that way. Now I’m wondering what is under the leather on the other side.
“Writing slope.” Great word. And cool discovery!

I love it when a plan comes together. Seemingly out of nowhere and for no purpose but to say “You’ve been on the right track all along.”

What a spectacular find!
Things like this happen to those with a quick eye and a good imagination.
It belongs to him. ^_^

That’s eerie cool….

When you write about magic, it is bound to find you.
Have you considered that it might be the Greek letters Eta and Lambda…UPSIDE DOWN? I smell a codebreaking book.
