Oops

I keep saying that I’m going home on Friday, and that’s true but what I should have been saying is that I arrive at home on Friday. I’m supposed to leave Iceland on Thursday. Oops. I need those 24 hours, a lot. So, I’ve changed my plane tickets. I’m leaving Iceland on Monday and will

Short

It turns out that the reason I lost power yesterday was because the glue gun spontaneously developed a short. I blew power again today when I started installing the jaw. I’m off to buy a new one now. Grr. Edited to add: Hurrah! The company runner is going to pick up a new glue gun

HorrorScope: Review: APEX Volume 1: Issue #6

My story has been given a nice notice in this review. HorrorScope: Review: APEX Volume 1: Issue #6 Another surprising thing happened when I came to ‘Cerbo en Vitra ujo’ by Mary Robinette Kowal. All stories will be set or based around Harlan, KY. There’s a rich mountain culture there, the Cumberland Gap,…and there’s also things like the Hatfields

Puppets, dialogue and me

So for the last two days I was at work, shooting commercials and other small things for the show. It felt really, really good to do some puppetry again. Mostly it was my standard routine of fetching carts, and hats for the puppeteer. I did do some hand work for a couple of different shots.
