Two months: Iceland or NYC, a poll

We moved in two months ago.

I was going to do a post about how we’re settling into the rhythms of living in NYC but that was before we got the call from Iceland. At the moment, all I feel is a sense of waiting again and that the uncertainty has returned.

So, since my father asked for it, here is a poll about what will happen next.

  1. Don’t the angry sheep seem a bit harsh? Perhaps merely sleep-deprived sheep. That’s easier to buy, for me.

  2. It was hard for me to vote, having never received the customary Oregon “voter’s pamphlet”. I still have questions about duration of term, tax ramifications, and how this may effect the urban growth boundary… Will there be a town hall meeting? Can I host a social where we get to meet the candidates? Oh, and the sheep- are they free range?

  3. I’m gonna say this because no one else wants to say this but everyone is thinking this but no one wants to put any pressure on you.

OMG you cannot leave NYC you will devastate us all PLEASE stay or I’ll cut myself!

    Thank you, and goodnight.

  4. I so love -e-‘s comments.

I share Tempest’s sentiments, although I will not stoop to self injury in an attempt to make you stay. I will just stay up and moan. Maybe I should practice now …

  5. You sheep people are all very silly.

-e- I am certain the sheep are free range, but I will have to research the other questions and get back to you.

Tempest: Put the knife down. You can come visit us in…wherever we are?

Fabulous Girl: Your moans are exquisite.

  6. You will both go to Iceland was at the top of the list, so that’s what I voted for.

Listen to your heart (use the force) it’s usually the most trouble but almost always the right choice.
