Our house is noticeably warmer. Amazing. For the first time in years, I slept without a space heater in our bedroom. I think the house is quieter too, but that’s harder to tell.

That’s exactly why I don’t have very many windows. Of course, the greenhouse effect is not your friend in a Phoenix summer.
Was that in NY or Oregon?
It’s in Oregon. The double-paned windows are supposed to be good insulators.
