Was the sound track for real? If so, it was amazingly dead-on except for the flying cars that trip everyone up.
I don’t think so. There’s a script credit at the end, so I’m pretty sure it’s just written in the style of one of those newscasts.
Aye, the script is brilliantly fake. One of the “script consultants” is listed as Robert Siegel, who I believe is a former editor for The Onion (naturally).
Unfortunately, here in California, future man can no longer legally check his home port on his space beam communicator while travelling in his transport pod. Le sigh.
