One of the tools that I’ve been using heavily during the construction of the puppets is 20-331 flush cut pull saw made by Stanley. A couple of nights ago, I broke the blade where it connects to the handle. The blade is clearly made to be replaced, which is great because the handle is still perfectly good. But, after hitting a couple of hardware stores and searching online for a replacement, I was coming up empty.
So I went to Stanley’s site and used the contact form to ask them where I could find a replacement. Today I got a package with two replacement blades in it. No note, no invoice, just a handwritten label on the front of the envelope.
Now that is customer service.
Certainly has a personal touch!
