Math IS fun. I volunteer tutor in math ’cause it is fun… the rules don’t change and some of the answers are in the back of the book for checking.
Feh. Math is not fun.
Chris Hansen says Math is fun, and the rules don’t change. That’s the part I don’t like. Someone else made up the rules and I didn’t get to vote on them. I ALWAYS feel suspicious of those rules.
Suspicion is fine – I often have to deal in situations where the rules change without my knowledge and yet I’m still responsible for implementing the work.
Stable rules are comforting. That is why I like Sudoku – the rules don’t change.
