Pray tell, what where you doing with a marble rolling pin and a glass punch bowl cup in proximity, cutting cookies or doughnuts?
Packing boxes. Once they are all wrapped and stowed they can co-exist peacefully, but I dropped the punch cup before I had a chance to wrap it.
