Rob and I went to see Inland Empire David Lynch’s new film. My review is three letters long.
WTF?
I will elaborate. I defy anyone to tell me that if they had seen this movie without knowing who the director was–if they had walked into a student film festival and saw this exact film, that they would have found it anything but three hours of unbearable obscurity.
I haven’t seen it, but that sounds like the Lynch I know 😉
(okay, not all his stuff is like that, but…)
I can’t wait to not see it.
Oh Chris… this is so far beyond his usual that it’s into another world of weird. Go on. Go see it, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
I think I better wait till it can be Netflix’d – I may need to break up that three hours with some entertainment 😉
Netflix is probably a good bet.
