I am taking an erotica class, because I think it’s a good idea to understand the tools available for writing. Even if I don’t write erotica, there are times when I want a scene to be sensual before the fade to black. For instance in Shades of Milk and Honey there’s almost a kiss.
In the rest of the series, there are various fade to black scenes, which is appropriate for what I’m trying to do with the books.
But… I’m contemplating writing the “fade to black” scenes as an exercise in the class. If I did, would you want to read them? I’m not talking about adding them to the books, but having the scenes behind a password on the site for those folks who wanted to read them.
