Ooo! The Dark Crystal has midnight screenings on October 10th and 11th. Yes, I secured my tickets before telling you. It’s been years since I’ve seen it projected.

Yeah, it’s seeing it projected that’s got me excited. The scene with the orrery is just not the same on a small screen.

I still can’t see Jim Henson’s face without feeling a pang of loss. I can remember proto-Kermit doing Wilkins coffee commercials back in I won’t say what decade. It’s always wonderful when such a talented person is so nice. Or maybe I mean that the other way around?
