I’m teaching two workshops at the Lighthouse Writers Workshop Lit Fest this summer in Denver, CO (virtual attendance is possible). Both workshops are full, but you may join the waitlist, plus there are plenty of other activities to explore. Click here to learn more. Critiquing the End Wednesday, June 17, 2026 1:30 – 3:30 PM […]
Your Dad is my kind of guy 🙂
Very cool. I wish the camera was set in front of your Dad but better some than nothing. Thanks for sharing.
All the best,

Dad had been wanting to come to your festival this past weekend, but couldn’t make it.
That was neat. What do you draw across the musical saw? Is it like a violin bow or something completely different? It seems like it would be hard to get the perfect pitch for the notes; much practice is needed I suspect.
Dad uses a cello bow.
That’s so cool! And it made me go look up things about musical saws. What a neat instrument.
I did one show with Dad playing the saw as part of the score. Would love to do it more.
