Chapter 6 is up.

I’ve just posted Chapter 6 of the Without a Summer draft, for those of you reading along.

A little teaser.

Spoiler Inside SelectShow

I’m still a little unclear on how I pulled this off, but I actually wrote 2000 words yesterday while at Orycon. Today, I’m at a more reasonable — considering I was at a con — 400 words. I will probably get a few more in before turning in for tonight, but not a lot.

I’m not worried about this because I had gotten ahead at the beginning of the month, knowing that I’d have a couple of low-productivity days between the audition and the convention.

    1. The timing can always be awkward but… there’s still plenty of time to catch up. The main purpose of NaNoWriMo, I think, is to teach you to put your seat in a chair and write. If 1600 words per day seems too big with your schedule this month, redefine your goal and aim for that.
