Brain closure

We had our first two Peter and the Wolf performances today. I was going to write a lovely post about the differences between a school crowd and a family crowd but I think my brain just shut down.

  1. I wonder if it is similar to the public-speaking high I would get while on recruiting duty (for the military). I’d give large presentations, sometimes all.day.long. There wasn’t any nervousness behind it — but I’d be “on a high” so to speak for a couple hours after.

Then the brain would crash-dump and I’d have to recover for the evening.

That’s what happens when you take someone who’s inherently introverted and have them do extroverted activities…at least it is in my case.
