Black Gate reviews Dark Faith

Hey! The anthology Dark Faith, edited by Maurice Broaddus and Jerry Gordon, got a really nice review over at Black Gate.  I got to meet Maurice and Jerry at Wiscon and had a delightful time with them. You’d never know that they were evi– I mean, they are very nice. Very nice.

Here’s an excerpt from the review talking about my story in the anthology.

…the archtypical mythological human maiden impregnated by a god is as old as, well as old as mythology (and a variant of which is a core belief of Christianity), but, in “Ring Road,” Mary Robinette Kowal’s Nordic retelling is particularly chilling.

You can read the full review which says good things about the whole anthology, over at Black Gate in their Short Fiction Review # 28: Dark Faith.
