Sure the days are short, but it’s nice to be able to sleep in and still watch the sun come up.
Not that I slept in. I woke up at 3:30 this morning, thanks to jetlag. Finally got out of bed around four and wrote for about an hour. I went back to bed and was completely unable to sleep until my alarm went off. What is it about knowing that one needs to get up which causes one to become completely unconscious? Anyway, I went in with Rob to work at about 9:00 this morning. I’ve gotten good work done on the bear, but there’s still more to do.
thats so strange, I’m in Australia where the sun rises at 7 and sets at around 8:30-9:00.
In the summer the sun comes up at 3am and sets at 1am. We get the full spectrum in Iceland.
Does sunrise last a long time? Here, sunrise only last 5 min or less – the pretty part where the underside of the clouds are lit.
Oh, yes. We have five hours of daylight right now and all of it is sunrise or sunset.
