- I’m at Stages Theatre in Houston, now. First up, doing finish work on Loki before rehearsal tonight. #
- Just tossed Loki’s skin in the wash to shrink. #
- Stapled and glued Loki’s head to his neck. #
- Note: It is easier to put neck skin in place BEFORE attaching the ears. #
- Peeling the skin back from Loki’s hind quarters so I can spray foam his tail into place. #
- With his ruff in place, Loki’s shoulders are way too broad. Peeling back his skin to trim them. #
- Stitching Loki’s underskin to his belly. The belly is just glued into place. #
- I’m stitching Loki’s rump closed. #
- Loki Wrinkled-ass. #
- A little hot glue under the skin smoothed out the wrinkles in Loki’s rump. I’m pleased with how things are progressing. #
- I’ve removed Thor’s bobblehead and am starting installation of his new one. I’ll glue and staple Thor’s head to his shaft. #
- I did wind up shooting foam into Thor’s head to stabilize it. The foam makes a snug socket for his shaft. #
- Thor is up on sawhorses now so I can attach his pelt. I’ll hotglue the base skin to his ribs and spine, the stitch the remainder in place. #
- I’ve got the skin around Thor’s neck placed and now just need to connect that to his body. I forsee a lot of handstitching in my future. #
