I got my head of steam up a little late and am at a little less then 10000 words as of this evening. Found out some interesting things about one of my supporting cast and my setting over the last two nights writing. Listening to writing excuses has convinced me I should write on a writing prompt each day (at least after this month is over since I’ve got a three day drive ahead and want to write a short steampunk story for an open anthology submission.)
It’s hard to get rolling sometimes, but you’re in great shape to catch up. More importantly, those interesting discoveries are what will make the story rich.
Brandon is amazing, he’s books are smart and unique in the fantasy genre. Pitty, his books are not available in Dutch… I write stories myself and am glad I have my 100.000 words in a year goal… 60.000 or so to go.
