Maggie

Our kitty has long since ceased being radioactive but she continues to find ways to be expensive. Before the hyperthyroid treatment, Maggie had a small lump on her neck that was about the size of the head of a pin. It has grown. We took her in today and it’s a tumor. Sigh. She’s going to be sixteen years old this summer, so we’re trying to balance the cost against projected lifespan. It’s not an easy equation.

  1. Thanks Koren, I’m do a little better today. I’ve been researching mast cell tumors in cats, which is what it probably is, and they are usually benign. I’m not holding my breath, but it makes it a little easier to think about a decision.
