Apparently, the illustration I posed for is not going in the NY Times this weekend. What’s more, I’m not allowed to show you the version that’s been cut. It was too suggestive, apparently, although I’m not sure if that’s a quote or a paraphrase.

See, you should have been showing some ordinary T & A instead of plungers. It’s those sexy plunger poses that are ruining the youth of today.

Well, Mary WILL be in the times, just not in the original pose… the image was deemed too suggestive, but will be slightly modified/ cropped and then will run… David was up working on it till late in the night! Alas, her formidible plunger balancing skills are no longer featured, but Mary looks Maahvelous!! (though her likeness was slightly blended with the authors)
