This is my favorite picture that anyone has taken of me in the Regency ensemble to date. I’d taken off the spencer to show the construction details of the interior and Julia Rios snapped this photo.
I look like a time-traveller in it, which is awesome. I think it’s a combination of the lighting and the way my hair finally looks right for the dress.
Speaking of time-travelling, Julia came to the Launch Party in this fabulous outfit from the 1920s. The first words out of her mouth were an apology for getting the coordinates wrong on her time machine and being 100 years too late.
Made me laugh, it did. Also, I’m totally stealing it — I mean, quoting it — the next time I go to a costume party.
