I’ve just backed up my computer and it’s going into the shop for some minor repairs. The DVD/CD drive stopped working last year and I haven’t had enough down time to take it in. The shop tells me that they’ll have my computer for five or six days.
We have Rob’s computer, of course, but my online presence will be much reduced.

See, this is why we need magic. If we had magic, then you only need to worry about gremlins, bugaboos, and purple kangaroos–none of this rotten CD/DVD, HD crashing stuff.
Which, you know, that would be a very cute story…hmmmm
Even without magic you have to worry about gremlins, bugaboos and Microsoft (which is much more mysterious than magic).
