That went surprisingly well. When I finished, the agent said, “Well. I wish I had seen you first. You would have set the bar for everyone else.” And went on to talk about the way folks couldn’t handle the monitor and the puppetry. I sort of knew that something like that would happen. At national calls like this, they’ll get a lot of people who have done some puppetry but aren’t truly puppeteers. So when a puppeteer walks into the room, we automatically look better.
The callbacks are on Sept 21, 22, and 23rd and I’ll just have to wait to find out if I’m invited to those. Certainly I showed well, but Seattle is a very small pond compared to NYC.
