It’s been a while since I’ve managed to have all my submissions actually, you know, submitted at the same time. There are no stories waiting for me to write a cover letter at the moment. It feels good.
It also means that I need to finish a new story, like say, the 12,000 word monstrosity sitting in the works in progress stack.
Congrats. I always have this lingering guilty feeling whenever a story is not in submission. I have something like 37 in the market right now and for the most part, I can’t remember what is where without checking my spreadsheet.
I had two that I thought merited a rewrite and so had pulled them out until I had a chance to do that. Finally did and away they went.
Awesome! Good luck on those. And thanks for the reminder that I have two I should be sending out…
Oh, BTW, loved your story “Death Comes But Twice” in the new Talebones. Loved it.
Grr. Has everybody already received their copy of Talebones? Where’s mine???
I got my Talebones a few days ago, maybe a week ago.
Mine hasn’t arrived yet either, Dave. Maybe it’s a subtle conspiracy against Oregonians (even though I’m a transplant).
