Rob is gone.
I am a sad, sad camper. He’ll be back in Portland at two a.m., which means ten o’clock tomorrow morning for Reykjavik time. I might be sad, but he’ll be exhausted and sad. We did get to go out for lunch today, and spent about three hours outside the building, which was great. We went
Late night
We were here till 11:00 last night. Did you know that in Iceland the vegetarian pizza at Dominoes has corn on it? More wacky hijinks to come, I’m sure. Rob and I are going to try to get out of here so we can spend some time together before his flight today. Sadness.

NaNoWriMo Finish Line!
At 10:00 p.m. I crossed the finish line on my goal of 50,000 words in a month. I think I still have three or four chapters left to write, but the major bulk of my novel writing effort is past. Now I’ll have a lovely road of rewrites ahead of me.

Lazy Day at work
Thanksgiving was as traditional as one can expect in Iceland. The table was loaded with ridiculous amounts of food. The classic dishes were there, along with a twenty-four pound turkey.
