Late Arabian Nights

Well, I’m having fun working on this, but it’s like making the world’s largest set model. I’m designing everything at full-scale, which is kind of wierd. But okay, I guess. Here’s one of the drawings I did last night. Sorry it’s fuzzy, I’m tired and didn’t feel like taking another one.

More Arabian Nights

I’ve been working with shadow puppets up at McCarter. I feel like I’ve been playing catchup all day and that’s a little hard. I think I’m on the same page now, but who knows what surprises tomorrow may hold.

Back to NJ

Rob and I drove to Atlanta today with no trouble. My flight boarded on time and then sat for an hour and a half on the pavement. Why? Because I was on board. Seriously though, when it landed it had kicked a rock up against a wing and dented a flap. It apparently was nothing

Going Visiting

Besides spending a relaxing day at Woodthrush Woods, my mom, Rob and I went to Grandma’s house. I spent the rest of the day working on the book I’m doing for Grandma’s 100th birthday. She lives by herself, still has a valid driver’s license and can thread a needle. Remarkable.

Safe arrival

After two hours driving from Nashville, with no sign of ice, I have made it safely to Chattanooga. Having greeted my parents, but not my husband, I now go to bed to find him. Good night all.

Washington again

I don’t like this airport. Or at least, I don’t like Concourse G. It is a warehouse that seems designed to hold cattle more than people. Ick. But my flight is not cancelled even though it is snowing here. Tally ho!
