Home safely from Norwescon 2010

I had a good time at Norwescon but am happy to be home. When I left the hotel, the winds were quite buffeting, so I opted to take the light rail into Seattle.  Gee, that’s easier than the ride to the con. Amtrak was lovely, as always. I splurged on business class (ooo $15 more) so that I had quiet and an electrical outlet to myself.

I got about 1000 words done on a novella I’m working on, read part of Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn (which I’m loving) AND got in a brief nap.  I love trains.

The bike ride home from the station only took about a half hour, which I felt pretty good about considering that my bags were heavy with books from the con.
