We got the copy of the new lease and our move in date for the apartment is now June 30, 2007. Of course, this assumes that nothing else goes wrong.

Yes, yes. Let’s hope nothing else goes wrong. It’s amazing how when one is in the middle of a stressful situation, like moving, how suddenly everything just starts to fall apart.
I will hope everything is smooth sailing from here, from now until September. I’d wish it for always, but such things can’t last forever.
