Marshall Payne of The Fix interviewed me before the Campbell. We agreed to do a follow-up question post-Campbell. I have to say this was a great process. We chatted on the phone first and then he came up with a series of questions based on what we talked about. It was fun.
I’ve enjoyed his reviews and am pleased to report that he makes the whole interview process quite painless.
Very cool interview. Another congrats.
It’s such a talent when an interviewer makes it seem engaging and animated instead of simply by-the-numbers. From the looks and sounds of it, you must have had a lot of fun.
And thanks for sharing, too. Great mix of insights and interests, Mary.
It was fun. Marshall made it painless, although he also asked questions that forced me to think.
And may I say you made the whole answer part of the interview process seem effortless.
Well done and lots of useful nuggets in there!
Also, I gave a shout on Codex, but a bit late as I’ve been traveling and slightly out of the loop, but many, many congratulations on the Campbell! It’s just tremendous and richly deserved. The woo and the hoo and a mighty huzzah! Hats off!
(and speaking of hats, I am a fan of the new pic–or at least new to me, somewhat lurker that I am)
Thanks. The pictures are random, so that hat one will rotate around again. It was my favorite hat and I lost it about a month ago. This made me sad.
I just finished reading the Fix
Interview, Mary. Exceedingly
well done! Kudos.
