Augh! The cuteness, it burns!
What was I thinking? Might as well paint a rainbow on its tummy and call it done.
Speaking of tummy, I am very pleased with the fact that it’s a beachball and I used the inflation point as the belly-button.

With the birth of my daughter, I am now forever writhing in a world of cuteness (told my wife we should’ve got another dog.) If I’am ta’ be costently exposed to the cute-fire and pink-stone of girlyhood, I’d like ta’ at least make some of it. The pattern you used for this and to create the Coraline face are not on the link. Can you point me in a direction ta’ find it.
t’anks
Unfortunately, I didn’t post the final of the pattern for the bear but you can see the making of photos, which include earlier drafts of the head.
However, I wouldn’t recommend a paper sculpture as a child’s toy. There are some fragility issues invovled.
Very cool!
You work fast!
How is it operated? floating head on a rod?
Direct manipulation. I just grab the head and move it. I stick my hands next to the body to be the puppet’s hands.
