For those curious types, I’m at 56, 611 words and have just finished Chapter 13. Currently the book is projected to be 26 chapters, but that will probably alter. Or rather, the places that the chapter breaks are will alter. I use chapter breaks to control pacing and so just make rough guesses in the outline about where those breaks will occur. When I get into actually writing the thing, I often move the breaks around.
