Happy Halloween

Fantasy con 2008 130 I think Stealth Halloween went over pretty well. Of the costumes that I know about there were: a cylon, a werewolf (but it wasn’t a full moon), Monk (from the show), the mall goers from Night of the Living Dead (before the zombies attack), a muggle, a clone, Sarah Palin and John McCain. I believe there were others, but I’m not certain.

John Ekkers loaned me a shoulder holster and gun (squirt gun and bright green) to complete my ensemble. Do you know who I am? The answer is behind this link, but guess first.

Tomorrow I have a reading at 1:30 and am hoping to get rid of the rest of my halloween candy then.

  1. I knew. *) The straight hair was a dead giveaway. Nicely done! I bet you had lesbians ogling you all night.

  2. *beams!* I guessed right! And your hair looks gorgeous like that, though it makes the resemblance slightly eerie. I also love those Stealth Halloween ideas, particularly the non-full-moon werewolf.

  3. Perfect! I knew it without looking at the link, mostly because that is one of my favorite shows. As Rose said above, the hair, as well as the white shirt, clued me in.

Monk is a good idea. I’ll have to remember that one.

  4. As another fan of the show, the second the picture popped up on my screen I knew who you were. Awesome Stealth Halloween costume!

I hope the reading, and the rest of the weekend, goes well!

  5. Did you end up gun drawn, reading anybody their Miranda rights? Looked like fun, Mary.

The winner here in our neighborhood was the kid in a basic sweatsuit with washcloths, socks, and dryer sheets attached. Static Cling. An oldie but goody that has the added benefit of doubling as an air freshener.

  6. Most excellent costume! You kind of made it easy to guess. 🙂

(If I knew how to, I’d post with my dancing Scully and Mulder icon) Oh well, hope you had a Happy Halloween. 🙂

  7. I think it’s a testament to how good the costume is that so many people were able to guess the answer. Well done!
