Rob and I had been trying to sell our mini-van for over a year and he managed to do it while I was away. We want to be a one car household, so today I ventured forth, car-free. I ran errands on Tuesday with the help of a Flexcar, but the close cars are booked today. I could have picked up another, but since it was only a block away from my final destination I decided to just take the bus. Tri-met runs right in front of our house every fifteen minutes, so the trip was a piece of cake but–I have got to get a new bicycle. (You might recall that mine was stolen just before I went to Iceland.) The whole trip would have been much faster by bike.
