We only did Act I today. I think I’ve mentioned that this is a summer music camp, and these kids can sing. Wow, do they have good voices. Granted, there are some in the chorus who should really just mouth the words, but all the leads are outstanding.
Pod #3, although it shows the signs of age, is a lot of fun to work. It’s lighter than any Pod 3 I’ve used, including my own. On the other hand, it’s also more airtight than any I’ve used before, so I’m breathing pretty hard by the end of “Get it.” It was the first time these folks have seen me perform and they were cheering in the house when I started going. That was nice. Tomorrow we’ll do act II and I’ll be back in the bruiser.
