Make consistent writing progress, every week. Designed for those who want a challenge to write regularly and for the ADHD brain, these sessions are built to trigger the four building blocks of hyperfocus: Novel, Urgency, Interesting, and Challenging.

If you are seeking focused writing time on a weekly basis with short story prompts, insight into process, and an encouraging Zoom community, this Patreon tier is for you.

During the weekly two-hour Make Me Write sessions, Mary Robinette or a guest will begin with a prompt, host 90 minutes of quiet writing time, and followed by a 30 minute Q&A during which MRK will show her work from the same prompt you’re writing from. You can ask questions about process and stumbling blocks you hit during the writing session.

The goal of these is to help you make a sacred time in your schedule to generate new words.

The Writing Classes are generally on the last Monday of the month, and the Book Club is the third Tuesday of the month once a quarter—both at 8pm Eastern. Schedules are subject to change due to travel and other obligations.

Typically, the Make Me Write sessions are held from 11am Eastern on Sundays.

This November, due to travel, the dates are:

• Nov 2nd 8pm EDT/5pm PDT
• Nov 8th 8pm EST/5pm PST
• Nov 15th 8pm EST/5pm PST
• Nov 26th 11am EST/8am PST

In December, we switch to our regular schedule of 11am Eastern on Sundays, with the exception of Sunday December 3rd, when you get free access to the public paid class on Editing with Precision.
