On Thursday, August 20, I will give a reading at Space Bar, Pittsburgh to mark the debut of Tales from a Space Bar: A Collection of Stories Overheard Among the Stars, including from my own contribution, “Thou Repeat’st Upon Thyself.” I will sign copies afterward.
The short story anthology revives an old tradition, the one running from Lord Dunsany through the Tales from the Spaceport Bar collections of the 1980s. Travelers meet at a bar at the edge of everything and trade stories, and the rest of us listen in. Eight stories, seven authors, one ship with a 500-light-year view out the window.
