I finally have WRW back up fully. I’ll still need to put some of the modifications back on the board, but since those only affect me as administrator, I’m counting my work as “done enough.” This evening we had Don and Wayne over for wine and a light meal. For Rob’s birthday, Don had given

I almost for got in my frustrations of yesterday. I got an email from The First Line yesterday. Hi, Mary – We’d like to use your story Rampion for an upcoming edition of TFL on Tape. I don’t know if you have the ability to read and record the story yourself, but if you do,

Well, Other Hand Productions now has a new front page to replace the one eaten by nasty computer code. I will slowly redo the remaining pages on the website to match the new aesthetic, which I like better. So, there is a silver lining. Meanwhile, my computer came back from the shop today. Interestingly, when

Today I spent thirteen hours on the computer trying to undo the damage that some hacker did to the Willamette Radio Workshop site. We’ve been attacked with minor vandalism over the last couple of months. Basically, they replace our index.html file with another one. So far, I’ve just replaced it and adjusted the chmod permissions.
On Saturday Rob and I went to the farmer’s market. Amoung the other delightful organic produce, we picked up two globe artichokes. I’m enjoying one of them for a snack right now. As a change, I thought I’d share a letter from my dad about my folks recent trip to London to visit my brother, Steve. London May-June 2005 highlights. Dear Mary,       We arrived on Saturday morning and Steve was visiting with Josh out at the airport so we just hung out at Steve’s place and

I’ve been working on Arabian Nights design around helping out with Shimmer and am pretty pleased with what I’m doing, if I do say so myself. We’ll see what Chris and Emily say when they see the drawings.
Because I really don’t have enough things going on in my life right now, I started working on a new online magazine called, Shimmer. I was supposed to just be an occasional advisor, but you know how things go. Anyway, it’s open for submissions now, and the first issue is due out in October.

I spent the day on the computer troubleshooting two different websites, editing a manuscript and playing with a logo. My eyes are crossing now.
