Safe arrival in Brooklyn

I’ve safely arrived in Brooklyn to stay with my friends Jodi and Sam.  The trip was surprisingly uneventful and I actually managed to sleep a little.  This morning I woke up to the sound of “Bleaaaah.”

I thought that I was probably dreaming, because no one actually makes that sound outside of films involving fraternities.  But no, that was the sound of a small child being repeatedly motion sick as we came in for a landing. Poor kid. I was fortunately far enough away that I didn’t have the olfactory experience to go with the auditory one.

That waited for the subway. It’s the first time I’ve been back since we moved and I gotta say, I don’t miss the smell of the subway at all.

Besides that, it’s good to be here.
