If you are reading along, I’ve posted Chapter 4 of the Without a Summer draft. (If you want to be reading, read the ground rules and drop me a line.)
Because I knew I would be travelling, I front-loaded my month with a fairly high per day word count. I was writing between three and four thousand words per day. This allows me to have occasional days here that are in the 500 word range and still stay ahead of the game.
I’m currently at 18,544 words. Last night I had a G+ hangout with other people pounding the keyboards, but my pace was much slower than usual. Thank heavens I could hear other people being productive, which I find inspiring.
How’s your writing going?
Haven’t started yet, but I’m curious – does this series have an overall name? Chronicles of Glamourous England and France and Other Interesting Places? 🙂
I was just having that conversation with my editor and publisher, yesterday. At the moment, no, although it would be easier if it had one.
