Rehearsal went great.
It was really good to get back into the swing of things. We did good work today.

I’m 36! This is how you can tell that, though I aspire to be a lady, I’m not really since a lady never discusses her age.
Rob and I drove to Atlanta today with no trouble. My flight boarded on time and then sat for an hour and a half on the pavement. Why? Because I was on board. Seriously though, when it landed it had kicked a rock up against a wing and dented a flap. It apparently was nothing
Have I mentioned that my grandmother knows a lot of people? Two hundred and forty-five people signed the guest book at yesterday’s celebration. The amazing thing is that, after greeting an unending guest line–for three hours–she knows that some people didn’t sign the book. Who could remember that?!?!? Steve, Rob, Peter and I went to
The house is all in a hubbub getting last minute details ready for Grandma’s party. I’m printing out some pictures, which I couldn’t fit into the Birthday Book, and we will hang them on the walls in the Fellowship Room at the church. That’s where the party is being held. No one has space for

My brother Steve and his son Peter have arrived safely from London. We’re going out with our cousin’s Rusty and Francine.
Mom picked up one of the birthday books today. The printer needs to trim the rest of them, but it looks good. Despite all of the headache, I’ve only caught one belated mistake and it’s a relatively minor formating problem. So minor that I won’t even explain it. Here is page one.
I seem to be doomed to create files that are too large to email. I have the book formatted and lovely, but can’t send it to the printer. I’ve got to put it on disk and carry it down tomorrow morning. Sigh. I took it to Grandma’s today to have her check for errors. She

Besides spending a relaxing day at Woodthrush Woods, my mom, Rob and I went to Grandma’s house. I spent the rest of the day working on the book I’m doing for Grandma’s 100th birthday. She lives by herself, still has a valid driver’s license and can thread a needle. Remarkable.
Everyone wish Cindy a very Happy Birthday.

After two hours driving from Nashville, with no sign of ice, I have made it safely to Chattanooga. Having greeted my parents, but not my husband, I now go to bed to find him. Good night all.
I don’t like this airport. Or at least, I don’t like Concourse G. It is a warehouse that seems designed to hold cattle more than people. Ick. But my flight is not cancelled even though it is snowing here. Tally ho!
I should have known that things were about to go horribly wrong when I made my train and bus connections to the La Guardia airport with no trouble. The Atlanta airport is shut down. Rob got in right to Atlanta right before it closed. I have been rerouted to Nashville, by my request, and will
We just put the set model up and it’s huge. Because of the workshop I’m basically building my model 1′ to 1′ instead of 1″ to 1′.
