Steve has landed
Just a quick update to let you know that my brother has arrived safely.
Rob’s parents arrived in ReykjavÃk today. They were scheduled to come in this evening, but caught an earlier flight. This is wonderful because I’m going to London today and thought I was going to miss them. So we’re off to have lunch, then they’ll drive me to the airport and go play with Rob. I’ll
Jason Sizemore has posted photos of us hanging out at Chattacon. I swear, I only pulled the puppet out because Steve had been disappointed that I didn’t have one when I went to Leecon. And it was out for no more than five minutes. It’s not my fault Jason posted three pictures of it. He’s
Steve and Alethea had spent the night at our house. We all spent a liesurely morning and opted not to return to Chattacon. I know that is shocking, especially since there was a puppet show on the schedule, but somehow the muffins that Mom made seemed more enticing. After Chattacon ended, Jason and Justin, of

I had a great time hanging out with Steve Savile, Alethea Kontis, Jason Sizemore, Justin Stewart and Shane Berryhill. After we were finished with panels, we came back to Woodthrush Woods and shot the breeze until the wee hours of the morning.
Steve Savile went through Waiting For Rain and really helped me see the pacing problems and the places where my main character wasn’t active enough. Not to mention some clarity issues. He read it and just shouted (not really) questions at me as they occurred to him. I would fix the passage in question and

Yeah. So, I don’t know what I was thinking when I thought I would drive home every night to Chattanooga. We’re having way too much fun. It’s 2 a.m. and we’re just going to bed. We watched the newest Dr. Who episode. May I say, I am such a geek. I was a huuuuge Dr.
I had to go to the mall today. Surely, that explains all of the horror without further detail, so I may go onto the pleasant things. Steve and his family arrived during the night and somehow managed to get a teenager, a proto-teenager and a three year-old into the house without waking anyone. Now that,
My brother is in the USA! I actually spoke to him for a good five or ten minutes today. He sounds the same as always, no accidental British accent or anything. If he had started talking about cricket I would have worried.
As a change, I thought I’d share a letter from my dad about my folks recent trip to London to visit my brother, Steve. London May-June 2005 highlights. Dear Mary,       We arrived on Saturday morning and Steve was visiting with Josh out at the airport so we just hung out at Steve’s place and

Today is my brother’s birthday! I have no idea what his plans are, but I’m sure it will involve a pub.
And now, in honor of my mother’s birthday, here’s a picture of us with her mother. (From left)My brother Steve, Dad, Mom, Me, Rob. Grandma in front
Have I mentioned that my grandmother knows a lot of people? Two hundred and forty-five people signed the guest book at yesterday’s celebration. The amazing thing is that, after greeting an unending guest line–for three hours–she knows that some people didn’t sign the book. Who could remember that?!?!? Steve, Rob, Peter and I went to
My brother Steve and his son Peter have arrived safely from London. We’re going out with our cousin’s Rusty and Francine.
