Train to San Jose

I’m heading to the train station, where I will catch the train to San Jose for World Fantasy. I’m looking forward to the ride and having the quiet down time to just focus on writing and reading. I’m taking Tobias Buckell’s Ragamuffin for the trip.

  1. Ragamuffin is a great choice for a long train ride.
I started reading it on a plane trip not to long ago. Opened it during the safety lecture on the tarmac in Tucson, put the book down for just a moment to stretch and realized we were descending into Seattle. Best flight I’ve had in years. (I did resent having to wait to resume reading until after I got on my shuttle to Everett)
Have a nice trip and a good time in San Jose.
