Shades of Milk and Honey is on the Kirkus Best Of list!

My inbox is overflowing with good news today.

Shades of Milk and Honey is on the Kirkus Reviews list of Best Science Fiction and Fantasy of 2010! This is just staggering.  Really, I got the email and threw my arms up in the air with a hurrah.

(Also, no lie, the sun just came out.  For real. If this were a film, I’d complain about the heavy-handed atmospheric metaphor.  Sun-beams, in Oregon in the winter, shooting across my desk.)

AND Tor is going back for a second printing of Shades of Milk and Honey!  Oh frabjous day!

  1. Congrats! That is so wonderful! Both the review and the printing — and the sun. Coming from a city that ties Seattle on cloudy factor, I can whole-heartedly cheer for the beams of light illuminating your good news 🙂
