I need to update my bios now to say that I live in Chicago.

This is a very fast update to let you know that we have unloaded the truck and are in the apartment. We got incredibly lucky with the weather. It was overcast and cool this morning and started to rain as the last load went into the apartment. If this is the travel-karmic balance for the truck trouble on the way here, it was a price well worth paying.

We have a lot of unpacking in front of us, but the stressful part is over. The cats are settling in. The windows all have very broad windowsills, many of which are over radiators. It is perfect for kitty snoozing.

Speaking of snoozing. Rob and I have just finished assembling the futon, which we’re using as a bed for the moment. I am going to go collapse on it now.

  1. Snooze safe and sound.  We will post those travel protecting angels at the foot of your bed tonight.
