Buster and Prius

Buster seems a lot less excited about our new car than we are.

Bath time for Buster

Wednesday, June 21st, 2006

I gave Buster a bath yesterday.  He didn’t like it but he was well behaved.  I let him back in the laundry room now that he doesn’t smell so bad.

There haven’t been many posts lately because there is nothing much to write about.

Buster Really Gets A Bath

Friday, June 9th, 2006

Yesterday I gave Buster a bath (a much needed bath).  He didn’t enjoy it one bit.  In fact, the faces he made were even worse than the ones I posted earlier.  Immediately after I got him rinsed off he went behind some bushes beside the porch and lay down in the dirt to lick himself.  This is before I had time to towel him off so you can imagine what a wet dog in loose dirt looks like. So I had to rinse him off again but this time I toweled him off and directed him onto the porch so he wouldn’t get into the loose dirt.  It is so good now to be able to pet him and not have to go straight to the hydrant to wash my hands.

BathTime2       Buster Thinks It Is Bath Time 1          Bathtime3 1

Today I washed the furnace filters which involved getting out the water hose and some stuff that looked like shampoo.  I noticed that Buster hid under the tea cart so I tried to coach him out but he wouldn’t be coached.  I’m pretty sure that he thought I was going to give him a bath because of the the hose being out.  By the way,  I’m not pulling on the tether nearly as hard as it looks in these pictures.  It get even more pathetic when I’m really going to give him a bath.

Chimney Stone

Thursday, June 1st, 2006

They started putting stone on the outside of the chimney today.  The fireplace is better than half done now.  They haven’t started on the hearth yet though.
